Kristen Wolf, Personal Trainer
  About Kristen Wolf:

My name is Kristen Wolf and I am a certified Independent Personal Trainer.  As a child, I was always very athletic and active. In high school, I participated in multiple sports, track, basketball and volleyball. Weight and overall health were not a concern for me during those years because of my age and my constant participation in sports.

After graduation, my active lifestyle quickly became very inactive. A few years later, I got married and put on the typical weight that many women do their first

years of marriage.  Then came the three babies, Hannah, Sarah and Brady, all of whom I love very much, but of course… more pounds.  During that time I took on the “mommy/wife” role that so many of us fall into without even realizing it, where EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING came before me.   I rarely invested anything into “me” and when I did I felt guilty.  Over time, I started to absolutely dislike the overweight, boring person I had become.  I had put on 46 pounds since my wedding day.  I hid behind big, baggy clothes and absolutely hated spending time with friends and family because I always felt like “the fat one”.

Then one morning (March 12, 2007 to be exact), I woke up and it’s as if an alarm went off inside of me and I decided that was the day I was going to take charge of my life.  I was done with all the fad diets, I was done waiting for the miracle pill and I was done making excuses.  I knew it was time for “me” to do the WORK.  It was that day I started investing time into myself and my health.  I soon realized that taking care of “me” wasn’t selfish at all.  As a matter of a fact, taking care of “me” has also proven to be beneficial to those I love most.  I am a much healthier, more vibrant wife and mother.  I have the energy as well as the desire to do more things with my husband and my children.  I don’t make excuses anymore because I feel tired and sluggish.  After losing 44 of those 46 pounds, I am a much healthier, happier, more confident person, which carries into my social life as well.  Instead of avoiding parties or crowds, I’m now the one planning the party.

I am proud of the example I am setting for my children of what a healthy lifestyle should be.  I want them to grow up thinking that good nutrition, gym memberships or even just exercising at home on your own are “normal” so they take on those behaviors for themselves and carry them on to their children as well.

It hasn’t been easy.  There have been ups and downs.  It’s taken a lot of dedication and determination, but it’s all been so worth it.  Where I was and where I am now in my journey has made me so passionate about health and fitness that I’ve decided to pay it forward.  I’m so excited about helping others achieve their goals.  It doesn’t matter who you are, your goal is important, and I would like to help.

I’m so glad I woke up that morning back in March of 2007 and decided to “choose me”.  Now it’s time for you to “choose you”.

ONE BODY.  ONE LIFETIME.  CHOOSE YOU!
