  About Amy:

As a child, teen, and young adult, I had always struggled with being overweight.  I loved and played sports, which helped for a while, but once into college the struggle continued. 

After having my first child and reaching my highest weight ever of 210 pounds, I knew I had to do something. I began losing some weight by controlling my eating, but realized I needed to do more. I joined a gym and fell in love with exercising! Really! As a single mom working full time, it was a great stress reliever, incredible

energy booster and the results were amazing.  I continued with my new lifestyle changes of eating right and exercising consistently and felt better than I ever had.  I decided it had changed my life so much that I wanted to make it my full time profession. I got my personal training and group certification and began working at a gym where I met Mindy. I worked there until I had my second child and became a stay at home mom.  The pregnancy weight was even tougher to get off this time around. I felt discouraged and was unhappy at the gym I was going to.  My wonderful husband had found out Mindy had opened a gym and he bought me a membership for my birthday. BEST PRESENT EVER! I loved the completely different approach of Phases. They actually cared, helped and encouraged. After being a member for 2 years, Brian and Mindy offered me a position and I said YES! YES! YES!

I absolutely love what I do. I understand the struggle. Believe me, I get it! And that’s why I have a huge desire to truly help people. I want to help them feel better, live a better quality of life, and realize it IS possible.
